Have a car in the UAE, or a rental? Skip the hotel pickup, drive yourself to our camp in the Lahbab red dunes and get the full evening desert safari for AED 40 per person. It is the same evening our pickup guests enjoy: red-dune bashing, a sunset stop, camp activities, live shows and a BBQ dinner.
You don’t drive on the sand. Park at the camp and one of our experienced desert drivers takes you dune bashing in our 4x4. When the evening ends your car is right there — no shared transfer and no waiting while other guests are dropped at their hotels.

Our camp is in the Lahbab red dunes, off the Dubai – Hatta Road. We send the Google Maps pin and directions on WhatsApp after you book.
Arrival time
Arrive between 3:30 and 4:00 PM so you don’t miss the dune bashing and the sunset.
What to wear
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes for the sand, plus sunglasses and sunscreen. From December to February keep a jacket in the car for the cool evening.
Health & safety
Dune bashing isn’t suitable for pregnant women, infants or guests with back, neck or heart problems — they can stay at the camp and enjoy everything else.

How does a desert safari with your own car work?
Book on WhatsApp and we send you the Google Maps location of our Lahbab desert camp. Arrive between 3:30 and 4:00 PM, park your car and meet the team. From there our driver takes you dune bashing in our 4x4, then you spend the evening at camp with the shows and BBQ dinner, and drive home at around 9:00 PM.
Do I drive my own car on the dunes?
No. You only drive to our camp. Dune bashing is done by our experienced desert drivers in our own 4x4s, so your car stays parked at the camp while you ride the red dunes.

What time should I arrive?

Is hotel pickup included?
No — that’s why this package is our lowest price. If you’d like door-to-door transfers in a 4x4, choose the Evening Desert Safari (AED 75 per adult), which includes the same evening plus hotel pickup and drop-off.
Is dune bashing safe for kids, elderly guests or pregnant women?
Children aged 3+ are welcome and ride with seatbelts in the 4x4. Dune bashing is not recommended for pregnant women, infants, or guests with back, neck or heart conditions — just tell us when booking and your driver will take a smooth route straight to the camp so you can still enjoy everything else.
How do I book and pay?

Can I cancel or change my booking?

What should I wear and bring?
Light, comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen and closed shoes or sandals. Winter evenings in the desert can be cool, so bring a light jacket from December to February. Don’t forget your camera for the sunset!
